Executive coaching

What kind of executive coaching do I offer?

My coaching is entirely centred around your questions. These may relate to improving your effectiveness, your ongoing development as a leader, or deeper, more existential questions about meaning and fulfilment in your work. The relevance of these questions depends on how you view this stage of your career and life.

I provide a space where you can bring anything to the table—whether specific experiences or deeper beliefs and subconscious thoughts. My role is to offer curiosity and a listening ear, not judgement. This results in meaningful sessions that provide profound insights and practical steps you can apply immediately. These conversations form the foundation of our coaching journey.

These conversations form the basis of our process.

What does an executive coaching trajectory look like with me?

We always begin with an extensive intake session. This allows us to get to know each other and identify the key questions you seek coaching for. This forms the starting point of the coaching process, which we can refine as needed. We will also explore the boundaries between coaching, mentoring, and therapy in relation to your concerns. Additionally, we will assess whether any formal assessments could be beneficial. We then agree on practical matters such as the number of sessions and their location. I will provide a proposal, and once approved, we can begin.

In my experience, a trajectory of 10–12 sessions works best, often combining in-depth, face-to-face meetings with shorter online follow-up sessions. Sessions typically last between 60 and 90 minutes, with an interval of three to four weeks between them. I ensure a suitable meeting space. During our sessions, we can discuss anything—from deep-rooted thoughts to specific or recent workplace situations. We examine why these issues matter to you and how they relate to your coaching goals.

What do I bring in my coaching?

I am an experienced coach who has worked for years with CEOs, entrepreneurs, and board members, and ambitious future leaders. I have a strong client base and collaborate with leadership consultancies. I am also affiliated with INSEAD, the renowned business school in France, as an executive coach.

Having held roles as a COO, CTO, and board member, I understand the challenges leaders face. This allows me to quickly grasp your situation and the dynamics within an executive team, a supervisory board, or between the two.

I have trained as a coach at INSEAD and hold certifications in ‘The Leadership Circle Profile’—one of the most widely used leadership assessment tools. Additionally, I am a certified ‘HeartMath’ coach, specialising in resilience and stress management. I am also a member of NOBCO, the Dutch Association of Professional Coaches.

Most importantly, I bring genuine curiosity about what drives you, what challenges you, and what might be holding you back. I offer a listening ear, a thoughtful conversation partner, and, when necessary, a thought-provoking perspective to support you in both your career and your life.
