Leadership has always fascinated me. How a single leader can completely transform a team and an organisation. My own development as a leader sometimes happened naturally, but has been also challenging and painful – especially with new teams or roles. Leadership goes beyond simply performing tasks; it is about who we want to be, what drives us, and what holds us back. These and many other questions are central to my work with leaders and their teams. In a rapidly changing world, a different kind of leadership is needed: human, effective, and an inspiration to others. That is what I contribute to.
Executive Coaching
I am a leading coach for the leaders of today and tomorrow. As a coach, I work with CEOs and senior leaders to enhance their impact, deepen their self-awareness, and strengthen their connection. My style is warm, incisive, and results-oriented. With my own extensive leadership experience, I understand like no other the challenges executives and teams face. That holding a leadership position can be lonely and that you need a conversation partner to discuss how to lead effectively while staying true to yourself. Team Coaching
In our organisations, we mainly work in teams, where we collaborate based on our roles and come together with our deeper motivations and beliefs. Each team has its own identity, its own life story. Changes in the organisation or within the team can have a significant impact on its effectiveness and character. For example. A new team may need time and guidance to prepare for its responsibilities. A team may also find itself completely stuck and looking for a way forward. Book: ‘DNA of Leadership’
In 2022, my book ‘DNA of Leadership’ was published by S2 Publishers. I had been walking around the idea of this book for years and after blood, sweat and tears, the time had come in 2022. The book was a top 5 bestseller at Managementboek and was nominated for management book of the year in early 2023.
How do we develop as leaders? Which qualities set outstanding leaders apart? This unique book features insights from a range of inspiring leaders. Their conclusions, combined with my own experience and extensive research, reveal five key traits of effective leadership. ‘DNA of Leadership’ provides both inspiration and a structured approach to personal leadership development.
